Laser scanning & 3D modelling
All General Surveying can provide laser scanning and modelling of buildings and other structures, including:
- Point cloud data capture to most design formats
- 3D modelling in CAD format.
Laser Scanning is the process of collecting millions of highly accurate 3D points to form a point cloud. The point cloud data can then be used to create a 3D image of your site for use in many aspects of the design process.
The data captured is so highly accurate and captured at once, reducing the need to return to site for missed data or for on-site changes at construction stage.
